Le show commence avec un match entre le vainqueur du money in the bank et l'un des champions par equipe.
Match 1: CM Punk vs The Miz
Un match que The Miz va longtemps dominé en raison des interventions de John Morrison qui etait au bord du ring, mais Punk va reprendre l'avantage lorsque l'arbitre va exclure Morrison des abords du ring. Punk remporte finalement le match après avoir porté son Go To Sleep sur The Miz.
Vainqueur: CM Punk
Colin Delaney et Tommy Dreamer sont dans le bureau d'Armando Estrada. Delaney demande une nouvelle chance pour obtenir un contrat à la ECW. Estrada repond que ce soir Delaney va affronter Tommy Dreamer dans le main event: si Delaney gagne, il obtiendra son contrat mais si Dreamer perd, il sera virer.
Sur le ring, c'est la ceremonie de signature du contrat pour le match qui opposera Chavo Guerrero à Kane à Backlash. Chavo est accompagné des EdgeHeads. Alors que Kane a signé le contrat, Chavo annonce au Big Red Monster qu'à Backlash, il ne pourra pas l'attaquer par derrière comme il l'a fait à Wrestlemania. Un homme chauve, habillé comme un garde du corps, arrive sur le ring. Chavo, les EdgeHeads et le garde du corps attaquent Kane avant que Chavo en termine en portant son Frog Splash sur la table.
Match 2: Elijah Burke vs Nunzio
Un match largement dominé par Elijah Burke qui conclut avec sa nouvelle prise de finition.
Vainqueur: Elijah Burke
Match 3: Kofi Kingston vs Domino
Un match dominé par Kofi Kingston qui l'emporte après avoir porté sa prise de finition.
Vainqueur: Kofi Kingston
En backstage, Layla dit à Eve Torres et à Kelly Kelly qu'elle est la meilleure diva de la ECW.
Main Event: Colin Delaney vs Tommy Dreamer
Un match assez serré que Dreamer remporte finalement après avoir porté un DDT sur Delaney.
Vainqueur: Tommy Dreamer

Jolie résumé dommage que la ECW d'hier etait nul a part le matche the miz vs cm punk qui etait bof.

C'est son rôle et puis au moins il a rendu la signature de contrat moins ennuyante que prévu
